Why ShowBed versus Shavings
or Other Bedding?
ShowBed is specifically design-ed to reduce dust and control
odors. ShowBed is
manufactured using a patent pending process called Absorba-Fresh
Technology which creates this unique form of palletized
bedding. We have yet to find another bedding that remains dust
free, is comfortable, as easy to maintain and controls odors
like ShowBed. We are
confident you and your animals will agree.
How to
use ShowBed in your Cool
Room?
First, you should clean out all the old bedding from
your cool room and then saturate the floor with
SciZyme spray, using a
pump-up sprayer before adding your new ShowBed. Now you
are ready to spread ShowBed evenly to about 2” deep over
the cleaned and SciZyme
soaked floor. The product should then be sprayed with
water until the desired softness and footing is
achieved. Be careful not to over-water if your floors
are not sloped for drainage.
Spray the damp ShowBed with more
SciZyme which will assist
in fighting the odor causing bacteria and ammonia.
Mixing the SciZyme
throughout the damp ShowBed is preferred.
Now you are ready to bring your animal into the Cool
Room.

Maintenance of
ShowBed in your Cool Room.
Spot cleaning to remove manure and urine saturated
ShowBed is recommended. This
should be done by using a thin tined mucking fork or shovel.
Clean ShowBed pellets should
be allowed to fall back into the bed for continued use.
After removing the manure and urine spray
SciZyme around the soiled
areas. This daily treating should reduce the odor causing
bacteria count and keep your Cool Room smelling fresh.
Add some fresh ShowBed as
necessary to maintain your de-sired bedding depth. If used and
cleaned properly it is suggested that an animal will use 1-2
40# bags of ShowBed per
week.
Important Tip: Add the fresh new
ShowBed to the outside of the Cool Room and rotate the
oldest bedding to the center. This will allow for removal of
the oldest material first.

pigs, cattle,
goats, rabbits,
poultry, dogs,
and even small domestic pets.
